Well the E3 has come and gone and we see a lot of good video games, so I bring you a small resume of what I saw that called more my attention.

Mass Effect Andromeda

Finally we saw a proper trailer for the game, that even if it was only a cinematic trailer it gives some ideas of what to expect from the game. First as the name of the game implies, the game seems to be settle in the galaxy of Andromeda an unknown place in the universe of the franchise. This at least tell us that a big part of the game probably will be exploration of the galaxy using your starship. This means also that the game probably will be open world, specially after the latest Bioware's success with open worlds in Dragon Age Inquisition.

The release date is still not certain but it seems by the end of the next year.

Fallout 4

There have being several great announcements in this E3 but Fallout 4 seems to be the greatest one, the game looks really cool, and it'll come out in November this year. That alone is awesome.

The game will be open world and probably huge, also the amount of liberty with a lot of things seems to be also huge. Probably the most interesting thing is that there will be some kind of building and crafting system (that reminded me Minecraft by the way) that allows to create a huge variety of weapons, armor and buildings.

Now one warning though the trailers alone don't make justice to the game, one trailer just shows the world with average graphics. While the other trailer only shows combat and explosions. If you want to see what the game actually is capable of I strongly recommend see the whole Fallout presentation on the E3. There you can see several of the really cool features of the game.

Dark Souls 3

New Souls game was announced, a bit of a surprise as just this year From Software give us Bloodborne. I hope the game ends as good as the previous games and that they don't end up rushing some things. There hasn't said much about it but that is probable that they take some elements of Bloodborne to improve the combat in Dark Souls III. What elements and how we still don't know.

Kingdom Hearts 3

There was some gameplay from KH3 and while I haven't played the previous games I must admit it looks really cool. But may be with some effects that are a bit too colorful and too flashy/Epilepsy-inducing for my taste.

Dishonored 2 and Doom

The other nice announcement from Bethesda was a sequel to Dishonored and a Remake of Doom, sadly for dishonored there was only a cinematic trailer and no actual gameplay. For the Doom remake the showed some gamplay and at least the game looks entertaining.

The surprises

As every year there are some surprises and this year the biggest surprise for me was Horizon: Zero Dawn. I never hear of this game before but it is being made by the same team that made Killzone and the gameplay that was shown at the E3 is pretty impressive. I recommend to look a the video as the game looks like some kind of post-apocaliptic open world game with cool looking mechanical dinosaurs.

Finally there seem to be some games that rose among the dead and came back to the living world. First it was announced Shenmue 3, I never have the chance to play it but I know fan of the series have been waiting for it for eons. Another game that has been mostly a rumor until know was The Last Guardian, made by the same people that made Shadow of Colossus, but finally we have the confirmation that is being made. And finally Square Enix announced a remake of Final Fantasy VII, now this game really I want to see as I played the original being a kid and I would love to see a good remake. What worries me is that probably they will have to change a lot of things to make it work and there are high chances that they fail at doing it.

Now all that is left is to wait (and save money for buying Fallout 4).
